Introduction

Red crunchy apples are grown in naturally controlled temperature, cultivating a most fragrant aroma and sweetest flavor that would be a delight to any of taste buds. Apple is a mountainous region fruit often described as "living plant organ" when on the tree and continues its life even after harvest.

In the diverse conditions of Balochistan, in Pakistan, its uplands are ideally suited for the production of apples in a comparatively disease free environment. Altaf & Khammas Trading Co. imports the traditional variety of apples namely Golden delicious, Turkulu and Amri. August to December represent the peak harvest season for Apples.

Apples are packed normally in cartons or in wooden cases. Shipment can only be made in reefer containers.
